OSAA 4A Basketball Championships
Cottage Grove 61 - Gladstone 59  Aaron Sneed (20) of Gladstone puts in an offensive rebound against the defense of Cottage Grove’s David Black at the start of the overtime period of the OSAA 4A championship game.  Cottage Grove nullified a 14 point half-time deficit to force the overtime and edged out the Gladiators with a 61-59 victory to earn the fourth place trophy at Gill Coliseum on the campus of Oregon State University in Corvallis.  Photo © John Lariviere for the Clackamas Review

Madison 31 - Roosevelt 29  Monique Carlson (10) of Roosevelt shoots a jump shot in the lane over Madison's Sarah Guseh (23) early in the first quarter.  After reading of Roosevelt's plight of an 0-17 season and the severe lack of spectators following the Lady 'Riders in a column by the Oregonian's Steve Duinn, members of the Portland community filled the Roosevelt gym to near capacity to provide support for the team's final home game of the season.  The Lady 'Riders nearly pulled created a magical memory as their late fourth quarter charge fell short as Madison held out for a 31-29 victory.  Photo © John Lariviere
